--oes thi-- s work? Hello? [The journal turns off, then on again.] ... how the-- do you... [Frustrated noises. The sound of fumbling and a bit of static. Wind blows through, loud, before cutting off abruptly. When it finally, finally comes back on the sound is muffled, like someone's speaking a little too close to the journal.]

Got here this morning with the kids. [Ow watch it with those hooves.] Didn't feel like staying upstairs. [He doesn't want to admit it but seeing his personalized room, figuring someone had lived there at one point, had been a little unnerving. It was, at the very least, physical proof that he really might have been here before. At most it was a haunting reminder that his crew had settled in for the wait, however long that might mean. Years already, for some of them.

The thought didn't really sit well with Zoro.]

- oh. [Disappointed indeed - Chopper's ears droop slightly at the revelation. He supposes he shouldn't have expected any different: this is Zoro's third time in Luceti, and he didn't remember anything about the first time, either.]

[What's more surprising is that he's from so far back. Chopper only now realizes - actually, let him wriggle down from your head to get a better look, Zoro - that you're missing that new spiffy scar you had over your eye, and your hair is a tiny bit shorter. The auction house...]

Has anyone else told you, then? About what's happened in our world?
