[Morning is the first word that pops into his head when he opens his eyes. Early morning, the rest of his brain supplies. Just a little after dawn, if he had to guess.
Zoro takes a moment to wonder how, exactly, sunlight managed to get through the gloom of Mihawk's castle before deciding that it was time to get up. Go fight a monkey-thing, or two. Or three. He rolls to his side slowly, trying not to re-open any of his wounds. Not that he could with Perona's stupidly tight bandages still wrapped around every inch of him.
Before he can push up, however, he hits something solid. And warm. A person? He lets his hand land roughly on the human-shaped lump, assuming it was Perona being stupid and not caring if he woke her up. Righteous fury incoming!]
What the hell--
**
[Sometime later in the day, after all the screaming is said and done and he finally remembers where he is, Zoro decides to actually use his journal for once. Too bad he hasn't quite figured out the filter settings. Have a random pirate, Luceti.]
Oi-- [Ghost girl. Are you still here? Is-- shudder-- Mihawk?, he wants to ask but, ergh, how embarrassing. Never mind. Let's all forget this ever happened. Mutter, mutter.]
... I need a drink...
[Click.]

[After all, you were the one missing last time.]
[Voice]
But we've missed you. [there is the sound of a turning page] Try not to be so dramatic next time, ne?

[NOPE--I mean, nothing]
And it's with that thought in her head - to ask to borrow a ship (or steal one if she couldn't be lent one) that Perona spies the newest entry, and practically chokes. She can't even deny it's not him, because she knows, and immediately Perona bites her lip and flings her journal away as tears roll down her cheeks. Bastard. Bastard! You stupid piece of...! Does he think he can just reappear so easily after making her feel the way she is?! Ugh, if he was here she'd...she'd...
Perona kicks her journal away again, angry at it, then scrubs at her face furiously. She'll have to really fix it later - no doubt her make's run again - but right now she just doesn't give a damn. She's so done with everything and everyone. She wasn't ready yet, to see him again. It still hurt. It hurt too much. She wasn't ready to hear Zoro's voice again. So she leaves. Leaves her journal on the floor, leaves her room, and leaves her apartment as a whole. Maybe she'll come back, maybe not. But right now, she just does not want to be here anymore.]
[action]
Two days into his return to Luceti and he finds himself standing by the ocean, wondering if that westward turn he'd taken by the bakery should have been a right. But, anyway, he was glad about the detour for once. He didn't realize how much he'd missed the ocean.
He stumbles upon her completely by accident, though it was hard enough to miss all that pink silhouetted against the sand. Zoro approaches her, slow and obvious enough that she could leave if she wanted to.]

[That's all he needed to know. It was nice of you to stop by but feel free to go ahead and leave! 8Db Zoro's just had his Mihawk quota filled for the year.]

[Voice] mihawk, leave the punning to zoro plzkthxbai
[Voice] the beauty of mihawk puns's that the deadpan has you wondering if they're intentional or not

Hello, Zoro-sama! You don't talk a whole lot in the book so I was surprised. How are you doing?

[Relief washes over Vivi, leaving her feeling a little weak at the knees, and she doesn't as much sit as collapse artlessly onto the couch. He's back. He's okay.]
[By the time Zoro emerges, she'll have collected herself, even taking a little time to run to the bathroom and make herself look more presentable so she doesn't look like she just tumbled out of bed. She's still in her pajamas, but sitting on the couch with a smile, and quite obviously expecting him.]
